Inadequate Sanyo high quality and provider

I acquired this digicam and was very content with it until it created a fault. Sadly this took place 1x month after the warranty ran out and I was unable to get support or assist from Amazon or Alcam to repair. Sanyo Client provider would not even reply. The fault appears to be an intermittent link between the digital camera physique and the viewfinder. There is a flat cable which requirements to flex as the viewfinder is opened and shut. This cable is not upto the occupation and will sooner or later fail. This seems to be a design and style fault and I do not advocate getting this camera until it is resolved.
