This camcorder is effectively well worth the cash, if like me, you are looking for great quality DV for modifying and putting it on standard DVD then appear no more.The audio recording is a little bit ‘ify’ but then so is all modest camcorder seem. Get a first rate exterior mic to go with it and you have acquired a wow! blend. I noticed a single review which states the HV20 has no earphone socket, this is not correct as it has a combo line out/headphones socket which you can choose from the menu.In any case It has HDMI or Firewire, so why would you want line out?I experimented with the HDMI on an HDTV and it was amazing but I believe large def. enhancing is some way off nevertheless for most individuals, it is for me.I’m happy with the true widescreen DV capture and sound from my exterior mic and I hope to get tons of excellent footage to edit from it.

excellent digicam for creating limited movies

Outstanding worth for cash not typically you get an hd digital camera with mic input socket for under two hundred. I was impressed to locate I also received a greater volatage battery with it When examining the handbook. But I believe with employing Hd it cancels it out Got one hour n 50 percent out of it in any case. But zoom is’nt to shaky sound genuinely good when employing an exterior Sing star mic can u imagine it? Extremely excellent camera. Plenty of things you can acquire to go with it aswell. still ready for the capture not tried uploading it but. I use sony vegas ten so We shall see.

Superb camcorder

I acquired this camcorder soon after studying all the superb critiques, not just on the Amazon internet site. Initially I was hunting for a camcorder with an analogue enter to allow me to convert my outdated analogue camcorder tapes to electronic. All my previous footage was shot with a Sony analogue camcorder, worthwhile footage of my grandchildren from birth, all now in their teens. I wanted to be ready to edit the footage and place it on DVD to hand to the family members, and I have done it, thanks to the HV20 and an superb movie modifying software.New footage shot with the Canon is faultless. I have no grievances by any means with this camcorder and would suggest it to any individual. Thank you Mr Canon!
